Building a Career on Drive, Integrity, and Curiosity

Rallo began his career at Lehman Brothers as a Summer Analyst in Equity Derivatives while still a university student. The experience introduced him to the demanding pace of global finance and the precision required to excel in investment banking. Following his graduation, he joined Citizens JMP Securities, where he spent a decade as Vice President within the Financial Institutions and Real Estate Investment Banking Group.

At JMP, Rallo developed a strong command of deal execution and client advisory. He then advanced to Co-Head of Global Investment Banking at Aegis Capital Group, where he led cross-border initiatives and managed teams delivering complex financial solutions. These experiences shaped his disciplined yet creative leadership approach, one that values ethical decision-making as highly as technical excellence.

Principles that Define a Modern Leader

Throughout his career, Rallo has built his leadership philosophy around six guiding principles that form the backbone of his professional and personal success: model the behavior you expect, mentor the next generation, foster open communication, set clear expectations, delegate intentionally, and manage time purposefully.

He believes the role of a leader is to empower others while maintaining unwavering integrity. Colleagues often describe him as approachable, decisive, and authentic, a leader who aligns purpose and performance. His belief that leadership is a privilege, not an entitlement, continues to shape the culture at E.F. Hutton, where collaboration and accountability coexist with ambition and innovation.

Guiding E.F. Hutton Through a New Era

In 2020, as global markets faced unprecedented uncertainty during the COVID-19 pandemic, Rallo saw an opportunity to reintroduce E.F. Hutton as a forward-looking financial institution. He co-founded the firm as a broker-dealer headquartered in Manhattan, providing advisory and financing services to corporations, sponsors, and partnerships.

Rallo’s leadership during this formative period centered on stability, adaptability, and technological progress. By integrating digital collaboration tools, he ensured that the firm maintained strong client engagement even in remote environments. His commitment to operational excellence and client trust helped E.F. Hutton scale efficiently and outperform expectations during a volatile market cycle.

Today, the firm’s growth and recognition reflect Rallo’s long-term vision: combining Wall Street tradition with a modern, technology-enabled mindset that prioritizes transparency and performance.

These credentials authorize him to supervise investment banking operations, conduct securities transactions across U.S. jurisdictions, and advise on transactions involving mergers, acquisitions, public offerings, and restructuring. Rallo’s professional licensing underscores his commitment to maintaining the highest regulatory and ethical standards in financial practice.
